TVA is a corporation owned by the U.S. federal government and is not an executive branch agency. Therefore, it is not required to take part in the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey, nor does it participate in the Best Places to Work rankings. TVA’s Office of the Inspector General had an independent third party conduct and verify a survey similar to the FEVS in order to participate in the rankings.
Mission
To promote excellence in TVA through investigations, audits, and evaluations designed to promote economy, efficiency, and effectiveness and prevent and detect fraud, waste, and abuse.
